Gajanan Hospital

You will find Gajanan Hospital in Akluj, right behind the Phule Bakery on Hanuman Mandir Road. Being behind a bakery is actually quite nice because it smells like fresh bread in the mornings when we are opening up. We are situated in Yashwantnagar. It’s a busy little stretch of road because of the temple nearby. Lots of people walk past our doors every day. The hospital isn't a huge skyscraper; it’s a more traditional building that fits into the street. We’ve got a good bit of space inside for the wards and the check-up rooms. It’s often busy because Hanuman Mandir Road is a main path for many. We see people from all over Akluj and even from the villages nearby. The waiting area is usually full of people talking quietly. We try to keep the place cool, but in the middle of summer, it’s a bit of a struggle. We don't use a lot of fancy medical jargon when we talk to patients. We just explain things simply so they understand what’s going on. The staff is mostly busy with the charts and making sure everyone is comfortable. We’ve been part of the Yashwantnagar community for many years. People know they can find us behind the bakery if they need anything. It’s just a hardworking place where we try to do right by our patients every single day. That’s really all there is to it.
