Gajadatta Foundation

We are located at house number 97 in Madaki Wasti, over in the Varad Nagar area of Bale, Solapur. It’s a pretty standard spot, not far from the main road, but quiet enough to get things done. The Gajadatta Foundation has been set up here for some time now. We don't have any slick office decor or a front desk with a receptionist. It’s mostly just us sitting around tables and figuring out the day's tasks. Solapur has a way of being very hot, so we usually keep the windows shut and the fans going. Being in 413001 keeps us close to the people we know. We didn't want to move into a big business park because this feels more like home. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but the work is more important than how the place looks. Most days, someone drops by just to chat or ask a question about what we’re doing. We don't use fancy titles or have big meetings every morning. We just show up and start where we left off yesterday. It's a simple way of running a foundation, but it works for us. You won't find us in the papers much, and that is fine. We are just here in Varad Nagar doing what we can with what we have. Our space is small but it is enough for the team to stay busy.
