Dr. Nitin Rathi Hospital

We’ve been here at 647 West Mangalwar Peth for quite a while now. Most people know the Tilak Chowk area can get pretty busy with traffic, but our hospital stays right in the middle of it all. It’s a plain building, nothing too fancy, but we keep things running every day for the folks who come through our doors. When you walk in, you’ll usually find someone at the front desk sorting through paperwork or chatting with a regular. We don’t really do big advertisements or anything like that. Most people just know us because we’re the local spot they pass on their way to work or the market. Dr. Nitin Rathi started this place to handle the health needs of this part of town, and we just kept going. The waiting room has old chairs and a stack of magazines that nobody really reads, but it’s a comfortable enough space while you wait. We see all kinds of people, from young kids to the older crowd who’ve lived in Mangalwar Peth their whole lives. It gets a bit noisy outside with the bikes and cars at the chowk, but inside we try to keep things moving along as best as we can. We aren't trying to be some giant corporate medical center; we're just a hospital doing the job right here on the corner. It's a lot of work keeping up with everything, but we like being part of the neighborhood. It's just a normal place for people to get checked out.
