Dhana Shri Hospital

Pandharpur is a busy place, and our hospital is right in the thick of it at Eklas Naka. If you know this part of town, you know it’s always crowded with people traveling through. Our building isn't anything special to look at from the outside, but it’s where we spend all our time. We have several rooms and a main area where people check in. It can get quite loud with the traffic outside and the people talking in the corridors. We try to keep things moving as fast as we can, but medicine takes time. The benches in the waiting area are almost always full by mid-morning. We see a lot of locals from the surrounding neighborhoods and even people from further out who come into Pandharpur for work. The floors are a bit worn down from all the walking, but we keep them clean. We don't have a lot of fancy technology or digital screens everywhere. Most of our work is done on paper and through talking to the patients directly. It’s a very hands-on environment. Sometimes we have a little bit of trouble with the parking outside because the road is so narrow, but everyone usually finds a way. We’ve been a part of this community for a while now. We just do our work, day in and day out, without making much of a fuss. It’s a plain, simple hospital for the regular people who live around here.
