Dasoham Sanathashram Foundation

Dasoham Sanathashram Foundation is basically run out of a small space at Shankar Kulkarni’s house in Ward Number 7. We are located in Saraswati Colony, which is over in the Davkhar Mala area. It’s a quiet residential neighborhood, and most of the people who live around here have known each other for years. Our office isn’t anything like the big corporate buildings you see in the city center. It is just a simple room where we keep our files and sit down to get our work done. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who manage the daily tasks. We spend a lot of time answering the phone and writing things down in our ledgers. Sometimes the neighbors stop by just to say hello or ask what we are working on. There isn't a big sign on the door, so you really have to look for the house number. The walk from the main road isn't too long, but it can be a bit dusty when the weather is dry. We’ve got a couple of old desks and chairs that have been with us since we started. It’s not fancy, but it works for what we need to do. Usually, we start our day around nine and stay until the work is finished. We don't have any big slogans or marketing plans. We just focus on the stuff that needs doing right here in the colony. It's a very local operation and we like it that way.
