The Ccpp/ Nargis Dutt Memo Cancer Hospital sits along Agalgaon Road. It’s a place that sees a lot of serious stuff but we try to keep a calm atmosphere. People come here from quite a distance sometimes. Agalgaon Road is usually busy with people traveling back and forth. Our building isn't new but we take care of it. Inside, you’ll find the usual hospital smell and the sound of machines. We have nurses who have been here for years and they know the patients well. It’s a hard job but someone has to do it. We don't spend money on fancy decorations. Most of what we have goes into the medical supplies and keeping the lights on. Patients often sit outside when the weather is nice to get some fresh air. We don't have a big marketing department writing things for us. This is just a place for treatment on the edge of town. Every day we see new faces and some familiar ones too. We try to keep the paperwork simple because no one likes filling out forms when they are worried. The doctors are busy but they make time to talk to families. It’s not a polished corporate place. It’s just a hospital on Agalgaon Road where people come when they have to. We do what we can with what we have every single day.
