Bramhanjali Foods & Spices

We are located at No. 105/126 in Uma Nagari. If you know Murarji Peth, you know it’s a bit of a maze sometimes. Our space is tucked away there. Most days it’s just the sound of the machines grinding up stuff. We started Bramhanjali Foods & Spices because we wanted to do something with our hands. The building isn't new, and the paint is peeling a little near the back door. We spend a lot of time cleaning up dust from the spices. It gets everywhere. Sometimes the neighbor's dog sits by our entrance and we have to shoo him away so customers can get inside. We don’t have a fancy reception desk or anything like that. Just some shelves and a big table where we do the packing. The air always smells like cumin or chili, depending on what we are working on that morning. It makes you sneeze if you aren't used to it. We just try to get the bags filled and the orders sorted before the sun goes down. Most people around here just walk in and ask what’s fresh today. We don’t really have a big staff, just a few local folks who know the routine. It’s a quiet life most of the time, except when the delivery trucks try to squeeze through the narrow street outside. We just keep at it, day after day, making sure things are done right.
