Blde Foundation For Innovation

We’re tucked away in Bijapur, specifically on Solapur Road. If you know the BLDE University campus, that’s exactly where you’ll find us. We work out of a space there with Aravind Venkatesh Patil. The whole idea behind the Blde Foundation For Innovation was to give people around here a spot to try out new things without it being too formal or scary. Bijapur is known for its history, but we’re more interested in what’s happening right now and what might work tomorrow. It’s a bit of a mix of people coming in—students, local guys with ideas, and sometimes just curious neighbors. We don't have everything figured out. Most days it’s just us sitting around a table trying to make sense of a new project or fixing something that didn't work the first time. The weather in Bijapur can be really hot, so we appreciate being indoors. We spend a lot of time on the computer or just sketching things out on paper. It’s not a polished setup, and things can get a bit messy with all the files and notes lying around. We aren't trying to change the world overnight; we just want to see some cool stuff happen in our own town. It’s local work, mostly, and we take things as they come. If an idea works, great. If not, we just try something else the next morning.
