Acic - Sveri Pandharpur Arise Foundation

Our foundation is located in Pandharpur, over on the Gopalpur to Ranjani Road. We use a post box for our mail, which is PB Number 54. The Acic - Sveri Pandharpur Arise Foundation is based right here in the Gopalpur area. Pandharpur is famous for its temples and the big crowds that come through, but where we are, it is a bit more settled. We are not a big company with a lot of levels of management. It is just a small group of us who are trying to make things better for the people around here. We don't have a shiny office building or a bunch of cars. We just have our space where we meet and plan things out. The road outside can get very dusty in the summer and muddy when it rains, but that is just how it is in this part of Maharashtra. We spend a lot of time talking to the locals and seeing what they need help with. We don't have a fancy website or a PR person. We just speak plainly and try to be honest about what we can do. It is hard work sometimes and we don't always have the answers right away. We are just people from the community who wanted to start something because we saw a need in our town. We take it one step at a time and do our best. It’s not a fancy life but it is what we chose to do with our time.
