Vyas Hospital

Vyas Hospital is situated at Kothi chowk in Talwad, right over by PO Chandpur. It is a bit of a quiet spot compared to the big city, but we still stay plenty busy. People from the surrounding villages come here because we are the closest spot for them. The building has been around for a while and has that old feel to it. We have a few rooms for patients and a small area where the doctors sit. It’s not a very big hospital, but we make use of every inch of space we have. Sometimes we have to move chairs around just to make room for everyone. We see a lot of people for basic stuff like coughs or minor injuries from working in the fields. It’s a very practical kind of place. We don’t have fancy coffee machines or a big lobby. Just a few benches and a desk where you sign in. The staff here is mostly local, so we speak the same language as everyone who walks in. It makes things easier for the older folks who might be a bit nervous. We just take things one day at a time here at Kothi chowk. We aren't trying to be anything other than a local hospital where you can get your medicine and see a doctor without too much fuss.
