Unifood Products

We are located over at Lalta Chowk, right near Hotel Khushboo. Our business is called Unifood Products. It isn't a huge factory or anything like that. It’s more of a local setup where we make different food items. The area around Lalta Chowk is always buzzing with people and scooters, so it can be a bit of a headache to find parking. We started this because we wanted to do something of our own. We spend most of our time in the back where the prep work happens. It’s a lot of chopping, mixing, and packing. We don’t use any big fancy automated lines. It’s mostly done by hand by a small group of us. The smell of whatever we are cooking that day usually drifts out into the street. We don’t have a big marketing budget, so we just rely on people tasting our stuff and telling their friends. It’s a bit cramped inside with all the boxes and supplies, but we make it work. We aren't some big corporation with a board of directors. It’s just us trying to make a living. Some days are slow and we just sit around and talk, and other days we can barely keep up with the orders. That’s just the way it goes with a small business like ours. We just keep showing up and doing our best with what we have. It feels right to work this way.
