Timber Trail Resort

Down here in Datyar, Timber Trail Resort is right where the hills start to get serious. You can see the cable cars moving back and forth if you look up at the right time. We’ve had this place for years. The parking lot gets pretty busy on weekends, especially with people coming up from Chandigarh. Our team is usually busy running around between the different levels of the property. It’s a lot of stairs, honestly. We try to keep the gardens looking decent, but the monkeys sometimes have other plans for the flowers. The kitchen stays pretty loud during the lunch rush. We don't really use big scripts or fancy uniforms; we just wear what’s practical for the weather. Some of the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we get to that when we can. The view of the valley is what everyone looks at anyway. We handle everything from leaky faucets to checking in guests who arrived later than they said they would. It’s a lot of work keeping a resort like this going in the mountains. The air is clear, though. That’s why we stay. We’re just a local business trying to do things right in the 173220 postal circle. It's not a perfect setup, but it’s our setup. We usually have to check the generators every single day to make sure everything stays on for the guests.
