Our place is out in Village Katha, specifically at Khasra No.172 and 174. Baddi is a big industrial hub, but being in the village part makes it a bit different. We deal with imports and exports, mostly moving goods back and forth. The trucks come and go at all hours. It can get muddy when it rains, but we keep things moving regardless. We have been working out of these premises for some years. It’s not a shiny office building. It’s more of a functional space where we handle paperwork and check on shipments. The guys in the warehouse are usually busy loading or unloading something. We don't use big words to describe what we do. It’s just logistics and trading. Sometimes the phone doesn't stop ringing and other times it's quiet enough to hear the birds outside. We know most of the drivers by name. Baddi is a busy place, but we've found our rhythm here in Katha. We handle various items depending on what the market needs. It’s a lot of coordination. We don't have a fancy website with stock photos. What you see is what you get when you visit us. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to stay organized. Dealing with customs and shipping takes up a lot of our mental space. It's just a regular business day for us, every day. We usually close up when the sun goes down and start again early the next morning for the new trucks.
