We are situated on Rajgarh Road, right in the Solan district. Being up here in the hills changes how you do business. The weather is a big factor for Solan Food Products. When it rains hard, things slow down and the roads can get tricky. We work out of a sturdy building that’s seen better days, but it keeps the machines dry during the monsoon. We process mostly local stuff that grows around here. It’s a lot of manual labor, hauling sacks and checking the quality by hand. We don't rely on too much fancy technology. We prefer to see things with our own eyes. The road outside is busy with trucks going up and down toward the main town. You get used to the noise of the heavy engines after a while. We have a small group of workers who have been with us for years. We know their families and they know ours. It’s not just a company; it’s more like a part of the neighborhood. We don't have a polished story to tell anyone. We just wake up, check the produce, and start the machines. Sometimes things break and we have to fix them ourselves with whatever tools we have. It’s practical work. We make food products because that’s what we know how to do. The air is good here, and as long as the trucks can get through, we are happy to keep working day after day.
