Our office is right on the top floor of the Thakur Building in Siri Nagar. It is very close to the Government Polytechnical College for Women here in Kandaghat. Being on the top floor means we have to walk up some stairs, but it is a good spot once you get there. We are in Solan, and the air is usually pretty nice up here. We spend our time helping students with their education needs. Since we are so close to the polytechnical college, we see a lot of students walking by every day. Some of them come up to ask about different courses or what they should do after they finish their current studies. The office has big windows and we keep our desks covered in brochures and notebooks. It is a quiet place to work most of the time. We are not a corporate office with fancy suits. We are just local people in Solan who know a bit about the education system. We help with applications and try to make sense of the different requirements that colleges have. It is a lot of typing and checking details on the computer. Kandaghat is a small town, so word travels fast, and we often get people coming in because their neighbor told them we were in the Thakur Building. We just keep our heads down and do the work, helping one student at a time with their education plans.
