Shri Narayan Rice & General Mill

We are set up in Mehatpur Town, right near the grain market. It's a good spot because that's where all the action is. Shri Narayan Rice & General Mill has been part of this community for years. We handle the rice processing and some other general milling tasks too. When the market is open, it gets really crowded and loud around here. We have trucks coming in and out all day. The mill itself is an old building, but it does what it needs to do. We don't have fancy signs or a polished front desk. It's mostly just dusty floors and bags of grain everywhere. We work with the local traders who come by the market. Some days are longer than others, especially during the peak season. We eat our lunch together in the small room off to the side. It's a lot of manual labor, lifting and stacking. We’ve got a few machines that have been with us since we started. Sometimes they break down, and we have to spend the afternoon fixing them ourselves. We don't mind the work. It’s honest and it keeps us busy. Being near the grain market means we see everyone in town eventually. We don't do much advertising because people already know where we are. We just focus on getting the rice ready for the customers. It’s just how we’ve always done it here in Mehatpur.
