Sanjay Exports

We’ve been here at No. 200 Palace Road for a good while now. Sanjay Exports is just what it says on the sign. Most days involve a lot of checking lists and making sure things are packed up right. The road gets busy around noon, so we try to get most of the heavy lifting done early. It’s not a fancy setup, just a solid building where we get our work done. Someone usually has tea going in the back. We keep the doors open when the weather is nice, though the dust from Palace Road can be a bit much sometimes. It’s a lot of paperwork and phone calls, honestly. You walk in and you’ll see piles of boxes and probably someone leaning over a desk trying to figure out a shipping route. We don’t have a big reception area or anything like that. Just the office and the storage space. It’s how we’ve always run things here. Sometimes the neighbors from the other shops pop in to say hello. It keeps the day moving. There’s always a truck coming or going, which is just the way it is in this line of work. We aren’t really into the whole corporate thing, just local people doing what needs to be done. We’ve seen the street change quite a bit over the years from our spot at number 200, but Sanjay Exports stays pretty much the same. It’s just us.
