Pacific India

Located over in Village Dhana, right in the Bagh Bhania area of Nalagarh, we spend most of our days just keeping things moving at Pacific India. It is a quiet spot for the most part, though the trucks coming and going keep us busy enough. The road out here can be a bit bumpy depending on the season, especially when the rains hit, but we make do. Most of the people working here are from around the local area, so there is always someone to talk to about what is happening in the village or the latest news from town. We don’t have fancy offices with glass walls; it is more about the work floor and getting the orders out on time. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that is just how it goes living and working out this way. You’ll find us at the site from early morning till late afternoon. It is a practical kind of life, nothing too flashy or complicated. We focus on the tasks at hand, making sure the equipment is running and that everyone knows what they are supposed to be doing. It is funny how you get used to the sounds of the machinery and the smell of the air around Bagh Bhania. It just feels like home after a while. We have been here for a bit now and the routine stays pretty much the same.
