P. A. Time Industries

Down here on Kasauli Road, things move at their own pace. We are P. A. Time Industries, and we’ve been operating out of Dharampur for quite some time. The air is a bit different here than in the big cities, which is nice when you’re working on things that need a bit of focus. Our building is right along the road that everyone takes when they’re heading up toward the hills. You can hear the traffic passing by, but inside it’s mostly just the sound of whatever we’re working on that day. We handle a lot of parts and timing mechanisms, things that require a steady hand and a bit of patience. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know how to do. Most of us live nearby, so the commute isn't too bad, which is a relief. We see the seasons change through the windows, from the heavy rains to the dry heat. Dharampur is a small enough place where people know who we are. We don't really have a big corporate lobby or anything like that. It’s just a workshop and some office space where we keep our records. People stop by sometimes to ask for directions or just to see what’s going on. We usually just tell them we’re busy with the clocks and parts. It’s a decent way to spend the day, honestly. We just keep the production going and try to stay on schedule.
