New Brehz Engineering Works

At New Brehz Engineering Works, we operate out of Shop No. 60-61 in the Modern Complex. Being on Sai Road means there is never a quiet moment. We have two shops combined here to give us enough room for all our tools and the machines we use. Engineering work is messy, so our floor usually has some metal shavings or oil on it, no matter how much we sweep. It is a practical space for practical jobs. We don’t have a front office or anything like that. When you walk in, you are right there in the middle of where the work happens. People bring us all sorts of things that need fixing or making. We spend most of our time at the lathes or welding bits of metal together. The Modern Complex is a busy place with a lot of different businesses, but we have our own corner where we just focus on the task at hand. Sometimes the heat from the machines makes the shop quite warm, especially in the summer months. We keep the doors open to get a bit of a breeze from Sai Road. It is just a group of us working hard to get the orders done on time. We don't spend much time talking about what we do; we just get to it and hope the machines behave.
