Meena Shawls

If you are walking down Solan Road near the Solan Children Park, you will eventually come across Meena Shawls. We are situated right near The Mall area, which is a nice spot because of all the trees and people walking their kids in the park. The shop is full of different kinds of shawls and wraps, and sometimes it feels like the walls are closing in because we have so much stock piled up. It is a small place, and we don't have a big staff to manage things. It’s usually just one or two of us here, folding things and making sure everything is in the right pile. The air in the shop always smells a little bit like wool and old wood. We have been here for many years, and we have seen the park change and the road get busier with tourists during the summer months. We don't really believe in big marketing tricks or fancy signs. Our sign is a bit faded from the sun, but people still find us. Sometimes we sit outside on a stool when it's quiet and watch the traffic go by. It’s a slow-paced kind of business, and we like it that way. We know the regular folks who live nearby and stop by to say hello. It's a simple shop for anyone who needs something warm. We just keep things running our own way, without any pressure from the outside world.
