Anita Fashions

Anita Fashions is situated in the Anand Cinema Complex, specifically at Shop No. 4. We are right on The Mall in Solan. Being near the cinema is quite nice because there is always something going on. When a new movie starts, the whole area gets very busy with people. We can hear the crowds and the music from the theatre. Our shop is not huge, but it's enough for the clothes we have. We have some big mirrors so people can see how they look. We spend our mornings dusting the racks and making sure everything is in place. Solan is a hilly place, so the weather is usually better than down in the plains. However, it can get quite chilly in the winter months. We have a small heater we use then. Most of our customers are local people from Solan, but sometimes tourists walking on The Mall come in too. We’ve been in the Anand Cinema Complex for several years now. We know the security guards and the other shopkeepers around here. It feels like a small family sometimes. We don't have any big sales pitches. If someone likes something, they buy it. We just sit on our stools and wait for the next person to walk in. It’s a quiet life most of the time. We are just happy to have our little spot at Anita Fashions on the Mall.
