Kumar Clinic Laboratory

Our lab is located right on Garhshankar Road in Tahliwal, just a short walk from the bus stand. Being near the bus stand is convenient because people can just hop off and come straight to us without much trouble. The building is a simple one, and we’ve been here for a good while now. Inside, it’s mostly just the equipment and a small area for people to wait their turn. It’s usually pretty quiet except for the sound of buses pulling in and out nearby. I spend most of my time looking at samples and writing down results in the ledger. It’s meticulous work, but it’s what needs to be done. Sometimes people come in looking a bit worried, so I just try to be a calm presence for them. We don’t have a big staff, so I end up doing a lot of the cleaning and organizing myself after we close up. The light in the front room is a bit dim in the evenings, but it’s okay. Tahliwal is a decent place to be based, and being on the main road helps people find us easily enough. We don’t do anything fancy here, just the standard tests that the local doctors ask for. It’s a routine that I’ve grown used to over the years. I just keep the place running and make sure the records are kept straight for everyone. It is not the most exciting job, but it feels important to do it right for the community.
