Klg Brick Block World

Up here in Shakti Nagar, the yard for Klg Brick Block World stays pretty busy most days of the week. We are located right near Jaunaji Road in Nauni, so there is usually a fair amount of traffic passing by. The sun hits the stacks of concrete blocks early in the morning, and that is usually when the trucks start rolling in to get loaded up. It gets a bit dusty around here, especially when the wind picks up from the hills, but that is just part of the job. Most of us have been working in this area for a while now, so we know the local roads and the people pretty well. The yard is filled with rows of different sizes of blocks and bricks, and we spend a lot of time moving them around with the forklift or by hand when needed. It isn’t fancy work, just honest labor under the open sky. Sometimes the weather makes things a bit slow, like when the heavy rains come through Nauni and turn the ground to mud, but we just wait it out and get back to it once things dry up. People from around the neighborhood stop by often to ask about what we have in stock or just to see what we have sitting in the lot. We keep the gates open through the day, and there is always someone around to help load a vehicle or count out a small order. It’s just how things go here in this part of town.
