Kk Holiday Inns Pvt. Ltd.

We are located up in Nalagarh, in a village called Kishanpura. The hotel itself is called Le Mariet. It can be a bit of a trek to get out here sometimes, but once you find PO Gurumajra, you are pretty much at our doorstep. Kk Holiday Inns Pvt. Ltd. is basically just us running this place every day. Solan is a beautiful area to be in, but it is a lot of hard work keeping a hotel going in this climate. We spend our mornings checking on the kitchen staff and making sure the rooms have been cleaned properly. It is not like those giant city hotels where nobody knows who you are. We know all our staff by name and we see the same delivery guys every week. Sometimes the power goes out or a pipe starts leaking, and we just have to drop everything and deal with it right then. It gets very busy during the holiday season, and then it is all hands on deck for everyone. We do not have a big marketing department or anything like that. We just answer the phone when it rings and hope the people staying with us have a decent time. It is a lot of laundry, a lot of cooking, and making sure the gardens do not get too overgrown. The mountains are nice to look at but we mostly see the inside of the pantry or the laundry room.
