Keshav Engineer

We are situated at Plot No. C 3 in Kailash Vihar, Baddi. It is an industrial kind of area, but we are also near a Shiv Mandir, which makes it feel a bit more like a neighborhood. Baddi can get very cold in the winter mornings, so we usually start the day with some hot tea while we get the machines or the computers ready. Keshav Engineer is a straightforward place. We deal with engineering stuff, so there is usually some grease on the floor or some metal parts lying around on the benches. It is not a clean, white-carpet office. It’s a place where things actually get made or fixed. We have a small crew and we all know each other well. The building is a simple concrete structure that does the job. We don’t have any marketing people or anyone to write fancy brochures for us. We just take the work as it comes. Sometimes the trucks on the road make a lot of noise, but that is part of being in Baddi. We like the location because it’s easy for transport, and having the temple nearby is good for a quick break. We don't have a mission statement on the wall. We just show up, do the engineering work, and go home. It's a plain and simple way to run a business. We focus on the task at hand and try to stay busy throughout the week.
