J P Associate

J P Associate is out here in Solan, right near the Japee Himanchalbaga Cement Plant. If you know this part of the district, you know it gets pretty dusty with all the trucks moving in and out of the plant all day long. We are mostly focused on the mechanical and fitting side of things around here. It is a lot of manual work and the hours can get pretty long depending on what exactly needs fixing at the cement plant on any given day. The weather in Himachal is usually quite nice, though the winters get a bit sharp when you are out working on the floor or near the machines. We have been at this for a while now, just a small group of people making sure things keep running like they should. Our office isn't much to look at, just a plain space to keep our tools and some basic paperwork, but it does what we need it to do. Most of our day is spent actually on-site, dealing with the machinery or talking to the other workers about what is broken. We do not have a big fancy setup or anything like that. People around Solan just know where we are or see us heading to the plant. Sometimes the local traffic or the cows block the road on the way in, which is just part of living here. We show up, do the work, and then head home. It is just steady, honest work that keeps us busy.
