Ice Spice

Our spot is right across from the Children Park, near the DG Office on the Mall Road in Solan. Being on The Mall means there’s always people walking by. We see a lot of tourists and families. We are quite close to the Central Bank of India too. That is a good landmark for people who haven't been here before. The name Ice Spice sounds a bit modern. Really, we are just regular people working in a small space. It gets quite chilly in Solan during the winter. The atmosphere changes a lot depending on the season. In the summer, the park across the street is full of kids. We stay pretty busy then. We don't have a lot of space for fancy furniture. Everything is very functional. Sometimes the street noise gets a bit loud. That’s just part of being on Mall Road. We handle everything ourselves, from cleaning to serving. It’s not like those big chain places you see in the cities. We have our own way of doing things. It might be a bit disorganized sometimes. We just focus on the day-to-day tasks. Most of our regulars are just local folks who know where we are. We don't do much advertising. We just stay open and wait for the door to open. It's a nice enough place to spend the day working and seeing the town life pass by our windows.
