Himalayan Ri Lung Foundation

We’ve been set up at Nazara Farm in Bhuira for a bit now. It is a quiet spot in Himachal Pradesh, right near Ritu Varuni’s place. Mostly we just get on with the day-to-day work that needs doing around here. Living in the mountains means things move a bit slower, which is fine by us. We aren't a big office with fancy desks or anything. It's more about being part of the local area and helping out where it makes sense. Sometimes the weather makes it hard to get things done, but that is just part of living in the hills. People around Bhuira know where to find us if they need something. We try to keep things simple and honest. There isn't much to say other than we are here and we do what we can with what we have. It’s a small foundation, run by people who actually live here and see the changes in the landscape every day. We don’t have a big marketing team or anyone to write fancy papers for us. Most of the time, we are just busy with the actual tasks at hand. If you happen to be passing through this part of Himachal, you'll see the farm and our small setup. The air is fresh up here, though the winters get quite cold. We just keep the fire going and keep working. It feels right to be doing this here in the mountains where we belong.
