Havells India

Out here in Village Dharampur, near Sai Road in Baddi, things are a bit different than the city. We are part of the big industrial belt, so there are factories everywhere you look. This Havells India location is more about the work and less about the show. Baddi is a place where things actually get made, and we are right in the thick of it. The road can get pretty muddy when it rains, and there are always trucks lined up waiting to load. We have a lot of space here, which is good because we have a lot of products to move. It’s a busy environment with people constantly moving around the warehouse floor. We don't have fancy carpets or quiet offices. It’s loud, it’s productive, and there’s always the smell of cardboard and metal in the air. Most of the staff comes from the nearby villages or they stay in the local housing. We just focus on the logistics of getting things from the plant to the distributors. It’s a lot of paperwork and checking serial numbers. Sometimes the power goes out and we just have to wait it out, but that’s just how it is in this part of the country. We aren't doing anything fancy, just keeping the supply chain moving along Sai Road. It is a tough, practical place to work and we stay busy.
