We are located out on Bharatgarh Road in Nalagarh. If you drive down that way, you can’t miss the facility because it’s one of the bigger buildings in that area. We spend our days dealing with textiles. It’s loud in the factory area because of all the machines running, but in the office where I sit, it’s a bit more peaceful. We make all kinds of fabric and yarn. There is always a layer of fine lint on everything, no matter how much we clean, but that’s just part of the textile business I guess. We have a lot of trucks coming in with raw cotton and leaving with finished rolls of cloth. It’s a lot of work to keep the schedules straight. Nalagarh is a decent place to work, even if it’s a bit far from the main city centers. We have a small canteen where we all get tea in the mornings. The staff is mostly local people from the nearby villages. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just focus on making sure the machines are running and the orders get sent out on time. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we all have to scramble to get it fixed, but that’s just how it goes. It’s a practical, hands-on kind of job and we’ve been doing it this way for a long time.
