Our company, Forge (India) Pvt. Ltd., is based out of Plot 60 in Sector 5. Being in an industrial sector means there is always the sound of trucks moving in and out and the general hum of activity from the other units nearby. It’s not the quietest place to work, but it feels right for what we do here. The building is a plain structure, painted a neutral color that has faded a bit over the years from the sun. Inside, it’s mostly open space where we handle our daily tasks. We have a small area for the staff to sit and have their lunch, usually brought from home in steel boxes. The floor is concrete and shows some wear and tear from moving equipment around, which is just how it goes in a place like this. We don’t have any big corporate lobbies or receptionists in suits. Usually, if someone comes by, one of us just looks up from our desk to see who it is. We’ve been at this plot for a while, and we know the security guards at the gate and the people at the unit next door. It’s a straightforward setup. We focus on getting the work done and making sure things are shipped out on time. Sometimes the power flutters when the weather gets bad, but we just wait it out and get back to it. It's just a regular day-to-day operation for us. There are no fancy meetings here, just plain hard work and talking to our neighbors.
