If you’re looking for us, we’re right across from the Gillette factory in Katha. It’s a busy road and the dust from the trucks usually covers the signs a bit. We’re used to the sound of the factory shifts changing. A lot of our patients come from there, actually. The building is functional, nothing more, nothing less. We spend our days checking IDs and helping people find the right department. The waiting room benches are old wood and they’ve seen a lot of use over the years. We try to keep the place tidy, but with so many people coming in from the dusty streets, it’s a constant battle with the broom. The doctors are usually busy in the back, and the nurses are always carrying trays or charts around. It’s a straightforward kind of life here. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy stuff about us. It's just us, the medicine, and the patients. Sometimes the power cuts out for a minute and the backup kicks in with a loud hum. That’s just part of the experience. We focus on the basic things, like making sure the supplies are stocked and the beds are ready. It’s a plain, no-nonsense hospital for the working people of Katha, and that’s pretty much all there is to say about it.
