Dheeraj Enterprise

This business is located in Dharampur town. It is a small place and everyone pretty much knows everyone else around here. We handle a bit of everything in this shop. It is hard to describe it as just one thing because we help out with whatever the local people need at the time. The shop is right in the heart of the district area. Some days it is very quiet and I just sit by the door watching the street traffic. Other days, it is a total scramble with people coming in for different supplies. I do not have a big staff, just a couple of us who know where everything is kept on the shelves. The stock is a mix of old items and new things we just got in from the city. Dharampur is the kind of town where you cannot really hide if you do a bad job, so we just try to be straight with people. If we do not have something, I tell them where they might find it. I have lived in this district my whole life. The building is not new; it has some cracks in the wall and the front door squeaks every time it opens. We do not bother fixing the squeak because it lets us know when someone walks in. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon and we just sit outside on the bench until it comes back on. It gives us a chance to talk to the neighbors. It works for us.
