Srishty Seed Farm

We’ve been running Srishty Seed Farm for a long time now. Our place is right on N. H. 22. If you are driving by Chambaghat, you will probably see us because we are very close to the diesel pump. It is a busy road and there are always trucks going past. We spend most of our time out in the dirt with the seeds. It is a lot of physical work and my hands are usually dirty by noon. We don't have a big office or a fancy waiting room for people. Usually, someone just yells from the gate and we come out to see what they need. Being near the diesel pump means we get some random people stopping by to ask for directions too. We just do the farm work and keep things moving. The weather in this part of the country can be a bit unpredictable. Some days it is too hot to stay outside for long, but the work doesn't do itself. We grow what we can and we sort the seeds by hand. It is just a few of us here. We grew up around these parts and decided to keep the farm going. We don't really have a big plan or a corporate strategy. We just plant things and hope the season is good to us. The highway is noisy but you get used to it after a while. It's just home for us.
