Akhilesh Collections

Our shop, Akhilesh Collections, is located on Basal Road in Chambaghat, right near the HFCL building. It is a quiet enough area most of the time compared to the main town center. We have been here for a bit and we mostly sell clothes and other items that people in the neighborhood need. The shop isn't huge but we try to pack a lot of variety onto the racks. Sometimes the displays get a bit messy when people are looking through things but we tidy them up when it gets slow. We don't have a big staff just a few of us who take turns being at the counter. We see a lot of the same people coming in every month which is nice because we get to know them. Sometimes we sit outside on the bench when there are no customers just to get some fresh air. The road can get a bit muddy when it rains and that makes it harder for people to stop by. We just sweep the floor and wait for the sun to come out. We don't really do any big sales or marketing stuff we just put the prices on the tags and hope people like what they see. It’s a simple way to run a business but it works for us. We enjoy the pace here and wouldn't really want to be in a big mall where everything is so loud and fast.
