Our place is at H. No. 324 in Ward No. 01, right along the Bye-Pass Road here in Solan. Being in Himachal Pradesh, the air is usually a bit cooler than down in the plains, which is nice when we are working. The office is easy to find if you know the road, but the traffic can get a bit loud during the rush hours. We have a lot of tools scattered around for electronics and communication engineering stuff. There are rolls of wire and soldering irons sitting on the benches. It is not the most organized place in the world, to be honest. Sometimes it takes us a few minutes to find a specific screwdriver under all the papers. We have a small window that looks out toward the hills, which is a good view when we need a break from staring at circuit boards. The floor is concrete and we have a few heavy cabinets for storing components. People in Solan are friendly, and we often have locals stopping in just to chat about the weather or the road conditions. We don't have any flashy signs out front, just the house number. It is a working environment through and through. We started here because it was a good spot on the bypass, and we just stayed. It’s a bit rough around the edges, but it serves us well for the technical work we handle every day.
