Anish Saloon sits right in the Anand Cinema Complex on The Mall in Solan. Being on the Highway Road means we see a lot of people passing through, but most of our regulars are local guys from around Solan 173212 who just want a decent haircut or a quick shave without making a big deal out of it. The shop has that classic feel where you can hear the scissors clipping and the radio playing in the background. It’s not one of those fancy modern spas with white robes; it’s a place where you sit in the chair, talk about the weather or the news, and get your hair trimmed. We’ve been here for a while, and the chairs have seen a lot of stories over the years. Some days it’s packed with people waiting their turn, and other times it’s quiet enough to catch a break between customers. We keep our tools sharp and our towels clean, and that’s basically the core of how we run things. Being near the cinema means we get some foot traffic from people catching a movie, but it’s the neighborhood folks who keep us going. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything. We just open up in the morning, sweep the floor, and wait for the first person to walk in. It’s a simple life running a shop in Solan, and we like it that way.
