Alkem Laboratories Ltd.

Way out in Village Thana, near Baddi in the Nalagarh Tehsil, you’ll find Alkem Laboratories Ltd. We are located District Solan, right near Morepen Road, which is a spot a lot of people know. It is a huge area for industry, so we are surrounded by other factories and lots of people moving around. Despite being part of a larger name, our day-to-day here in Village Thana is pretty grounded. We have a lot of different departments, from the lab guys to the people working on the loading docks. The traffic on Morepen Road can be a real headache in the evenings, so we all try to time our exits just right. Working in Baddi means you are part of a big hub, but inside our walls, it is just about the specific batch we are working on that day. We use a lot of technical equipment, but we talk about it in plain English. It is a lot of standing and checking and making sure things are labeled right. We don't really do the whole polished business thing; it is more about wearing comfortable shoes and getting through the shift. The hills of Solan are around us, giving a nice backdrop to a lot of hard work. We just do what we are supposed to do, day after day, making sure the medicines are ready for wherever they are going.
