Ugam Minerals

Our business, Ugam Minerals, is right in the Main Market at Singhvi Bhawan. Being in the market means there is always noise and people walking by. It is a very busy spot. We have a space inside the building where we keep all our samples and records. Because it is an old market building, the rooms are a bit small and the ceilings are high. We have bags and containers of different minerals stacked up. It can get a bit dusty, which is just part of the job when you deal with these kinds of materials. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to vendors who come through the market. There isn't much space for a big office, so we make do with what we have. Sometimes the market gets so crowded that it is hard to get a vehicle close to the door for loading. We just have to plan around the busiest times of the day. We’ve been at Singhvi Bhawan for quite some time, and most of the other shopkeepers around here know us well. It’s a good community. We don’t have any fancy displays or bright lights. It’s just us, some sturdy shelves, and the work that needs doing. Every morning we open up the shutters and start going through the orders that came in. It is a lot of manual work but we are used to it by now.
