Ambika Agro Agencies

Located on Tilak Marg along Sojat Road, Ambika Agro Agencies is where we spend our time dealing with farming supplies. It’s a rugged kind of place. You’d expect that for an agro business. We have seeds, tools, and different types of equipment scattered around. It’s not the cleanest shop because of all the heavy bags and metal parts, but it works for what we do. Farmers stop their tractors outside. They come in to talk about what they need for the next sowing. The road can be quite busy with trucks carrying goods to and from the city. We have a small desk tucked in the corner. That’s where the bills get sorted. It’s a lot of talk about the weather and the market prices. Sometimes a bulb goes out and we forget to change it for a few days, so it’s a bit dim in the back. We don't have a big marketing plan. People just know we are here on Tilak Marg. It’s a local operation, and we take things one day at a time. The work is seasonal. Some months are incredibly hectic while others are slow enough to sit outside and have a tea. We’ve been here long enough that the building feels like part of the family. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of life. The metal shutters are heavy and they squeak every time we open up in the morning. We just keep going.
