Vijeta Project & Infrastructure Ltd. has a setup in Siwan, on Ismail Shahid Road. We are specifically located in the New Colony area, near the Purani Quila Pokhra. Siwan is the kind of place where everyone knows everyone’s business, so we don’t really need a big sign. The office is right there on the road, and it’s a pretty simple building. We have a few rooms where we keep the computers and all the project maps. The Ismail Shahid Road gets pretty crowded, especially on market days, so there’s always noise coming in from the street. It’s a bit dusty, too, because of all the construction going on in this part of Bihar. Inside, the walls have some maps pinned up and there are stacks of bricks or pipes sometimes sitting in the corner if they just came from a site. We aren’t a corporate office with people in suits. Most of us wear regular clothes that can get dirty because we are often out looking at the work. We have a small staff of local people who know the area well. The Pokhra nearby is a good landmark if you’re trying to find us. It’s just a hardworking place where we try to get the infrastructure projects finished on time. We don’t spend money on fancy furniture; we just need a place to sit and figure out the logistics for the next day. It’s practical and it’s home for us.
