We set this up at Bhardwaj Villa over in Badram. It's Nilmani Mishra’s place. We aren't doing anything fancy here, just trying to help out where it's needed in the Siwan area. It started because things around the village weren't always going great for everyone. Most of us just live around here and know the families. Sometimes we just sit and talk about what needs doing next. It's mostly just local folks volunteering when they have a bit of spare time after work or on weekends. We don't have a big office or anything, just the space at the villa. We deal with whatever comes up in the block, trying to be useful. It’s hard work sometimes because there’s never enough hands, but we keep at it. People stop by Nilmani's when they have a problem or just to see if we're doing something new. We don't use big words or have some huge plan written down in a book. It’s more about seeing a neighbor who's struggling and figuring out if we can do a little something to make it easier. We’ve been here a while now. Some days are slow, and other days everyone is busy running around. That's just how it goes with a small group like ours. We don't really do advertisements. If someone needs us, they usually know where the villa is near the police station. We’re just trying to be decent people for our community. We try to keep the place tidy but it's a working house after all. Sometimes we have tea and discuss the latest news from the village. It is simple work but it keeps us busy.
