Sunshine Food

Sunshine Food is set up in Lawapur Mohnar Village, which is part of the Mahnar Block. Our place is very close to the railway station, so we hear the whistles and the sound of the tracks all through the day. The Mahnar post office is also right nearby, making this a busy little corner of the village. We have a simple building that does not look like much from the outside, but it serves us well. We do not have a team of marketing people or a corporate office in the city. It is just a few of us from the local area who come in every day to get the food items ready. We know most of the people who pass by our gate on their way to the station. The floors are concrete and we keep them as clean as we can, though the soot from the trains sometimes makes it hard. We do not use complicated machines or fancy technology here. Most of the work is done by hand or with basic tools that have worked for us for years. If a customer has a question, they just come to the door and ask us directly. We do not have a scripted way of talking to people. We just say what is on our minds and try to be helpful. It is a slow-paced life in Lawapur, and we like being part of the daily rhythm of the station and the village.
