Shivam Clinic

Shivam Clinic is located right near the government bank in Bhore. It’s a handy spot because most people know where the bank is, so they don’t get lost finding us. We’ve been in this part of Gopalganj for years. The room is small, but it’s got everything we need to look after the locals who stop by. There’s a bench outside for when the inside gets too crowded, which happens more often than you’d think on market days. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but they hold up fine for now. We deal with all sorts of small health issues every day. Sometimes the power goes out in Bhore, so we have a couple of big torches ready to use. It’s just part of living and working here. We know most of our patients by their first names. We don't use any fancy computers to track appointments; we just use a big paper ledger that sits on the main desk. It works well enough for us. When the bank next door is busy, the street gets quite noisy with motorcycles and people shouting, but inside the clinic, we try to keep things a bit quieter. My cousin helps out with the cleaning and the paperwork most afternoons. We just focus on getting through the day and helping whoever walks through the door near that bank. It’s a basic setup, but it’s what the people in Gopalganj need.
