Sbin Gramin Nidhi Limited

We're located on Hospital Road in Barharia, right across from the Block Colony Gate at House Number 130. It’s a pretty easy place to find if you're in Ward 10. The road can get a bit noisy with people heading to the hospital or the market, but inside the office, it's mostly just the sound of the fan. Sbin Gramin Nidhi Limited is what we call the business. It’s a local setup for the folks here in Siwan. We started this because there was a need for a place where people could put away a little money every month. We don't have any big corporate backing or anything like that. It’s just us in this house on a busy street. The building is an old one, but it does the job. Most of the time, we’re just sitting around the main table, going through the accounts and making sure everything is in order. People from the village come in throughout the day, often just popping in while they're out running errands. It’s a very informal atmosphere, and we prefer it that way. We don't wear suits or anything fancy. Just regular clothes for a regular day of work. Siwan is a place where people know who you are, so we have to be careful and do things right. It’s just a simple life here, helping people with their small savings and keeping the books straight.
