It’s a convenient landmark for us because everyone in the village knows where the school is. We are in Siwan, specifically the 841226 area. The house is a regular residential-style building that we've converted for our technical and skill development work. It has a small yard in the front where we sometimes sit if the weather is nice. Inside, the rooms are divided up for different types of training and paperwork. It’s not a very big house, so things can get a bit crowded when we have a full group of people in. We try to keep things organized, but there’s always a bit of clutter from the manuals and tools we use for the lessons. The street outside is usually full of kids coming and going from the school, so it’s a lively and loud spot during the day. We’ve been here for a bit now and the locals are used to seeing us coming and going. It’s a very down-to-earth setup. We don't have a big receptionist or a lobby to wait in. You just walk in and we're there working at the tables. It’s practical and it serves its purpose for the folks in Chakiya who want to learn something new without having to travel too far from home.
