Gupta Food Products

Out here in Mahamda, things move a bit slower than in the big cities, but we stay busy enough. Being right near the Gramin Bank makes it easy for people to find us when they’re coming into the village for their errands. Gupta Food Products is a name we’ve used for a long time, but most people just call us by our family name anyway. Our post office is just down the road, so we’re always heading back and forth to ship out orders or check the mail. Saran is a big district, but this little corner of Mahamda feels like home. We do a lot of the work by hand because that’s how we learned to do it. The building isn't anything special, just a sturdy place to keep the rain off the ingredients. We spend a lot of time talking to the local workers and making sure everything is moving along. Sometimes the rain makes the roads a bit of a mess, and it’s hard for the trucks to get in, but we always figure it out. We don't have a fancy website or a big office with air conditioning. We just have our workspace and a few desks where we keep our notebooks and records. It’s honest work, and it keeps the lights on. We’re just glad to be part of the community here and keep things going day by day.
