Era Construction

Our place is in Village and Post Sughari, which is via Basant Pur in the Siwan district of Bihar. We have been here for quite some time now. Era Construction is basically a small team of us who handle local building projects. Being in a place like Sughari means we know almost everyone around. Our office is not much to look at, just a basic room with some chairs and a desk covered in papers and site plans. Most of our day is spent out in the sun, making sure the bricks are laid right and the cement mix is good. It is a lot of physical labor and sometimes it is exhausting. But this is the work we know. We do not have a mission statement or any corporate slogans. We just show up and do the job. The weather in Bihar can be tricky, especially during the monsoon when everything turns to mud, but we manage. We use simple tools and rely on the experience we have picked up over the years. If you come by the office, you will probably find us talking about the latest project or sorting out the payroll for the workers. It is a straightforward life. We are just glad to be working in our own area and helping build things that people actually use.
