Dhananjay General Store

We are Dhananjay General Store. You can find us in Kagzi Muhalla, which is a part of Siwan in Bihar. The zip code here is 841234. We have been here in this street for quite some years. It is a family thing, really. The shop isn't very large, just enough space to hold the daily essentials people need. We sell stuff like rice, pulses, and small household items that everyone uses. Siwan is a place where everyone knows everyone, especially here in Kagzi Muhalla. We open the shutters early and usually stay late into the evening. It’s a lot of standing around and talking to neighbors who come in for a bit of sugar or some tea leaves. The shop floor is a bit uneven and we use an old fan to keep cool in the Bihar heat. We don't have a website or anything, just this physical shop. If you walk down the main lane, you will see our sign. It is a bit faded now but it still works. We keep our accounts in a thick register. It’s how we have always done things. There are plenty of bigger stores further out, but people around here seem to like coming to us because we are close by. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We are just a local general store trying to keep the shelves full for the local families. It keeps us busy and pays the bills. That is enough for us.
